Joining us online…

It’s really easy to join us online just click the button below to visit our YouTube channel. When a live service is happening, from 10:20am for approximately an hour, it will appear on our channel homepage. Joining a live service…

We are so glad to be able to meet together, in person, as a church family. Anyone is welcome to join us for one of our live Sunday morning services, and we have set up the building to follow the government legislation and guidance for places of worship to ensure the safest possible environment for all. Of course this means our morning services look a little different to usual.

To attend a service we ask that you read and agree to follow ALL of these instructions:

  • Please arrive between 10:15am and 10:30am. You will not be able to access the building prior to 10.15am.
  • You must enter the building from the main front entrance only. Ramp access via the side door will ONLY be available for those which it is essential, please email us before attending if you think this may apply to you.

  • Face coverings must be worn by everyone, unless you are exempt or a child under the age of 11.

  • On arrival please use the hand sanitiser provided. We strongly recommend individuals bring their own supply.

  • A simple register of attendees will be recorded for the purpose of ‘track & trace’ – this is not optional. The NHS COVID-19 App QR code will also be available for scanning.

  • You must follow the clearly marked one way system. It is important that the flow of direction in the building is maintained at all times.

  • Please avoid lingering in the entrance or foyer areas and instead go straight to your seat which has been appropriately spaced – adhering to the 2 metre social distancing rule.

  • Please keep 2 metres apart throughout and refrain from moving any chairs.

  • At the end of the meeting, please only use the clearly marked exit.

Our live services are broadcast live on our YouTube channel which is visible for any member of the public to view. We have made efforts to ensure that only those using a microphone at the front of our main hall are visible, however please talk to a member of our welcome team if you would like to ensure you do not appear on screen at any point. It is worth noting that currently any sound made in our hall may be picked up on the live broadcast.

Some other things to be aware of…

We are not in a position to offer children’s work at the moment. This means that all children attending must remain with their parents throughout the service. We have set aside a ‘breakout’ room should you need some space outside of the main meeting, however as a family gathering we are familiar with children being part of the whole service, and fully appreciate what that looks like in reality.

We do have pre-prepared packs available for children attending, which contain at least a paper booklet of activities, although please feel free to bring your own activities, pens and paper or any other items.

Taking communion is an important part of our worship together each Sunday. The most practical and safest way for us to do this is for everyone to bring their own bread and wine or juice. We will not be supplying communion, so please bring this with you if you would like to join in with this part of our service. Of course if you would rather not take part in this way, you are very welcome to just observe.

We have ensured that there is adequate ventilation in our meeting space which does involve overhead vents being open, as well as a number of windows. This does not have a significant impact on the overall temperature of the mail hall, though an extra layer is advised if you are particularly prone to feeling cold.
